Keeping vs Sharing Thoughts

One has to understand the difference between keeping a thought to yourself and sharing it.
There is a visceral, energetic, internal feeling or push that each of them have. (Keeping a thought to yourself & sharing it.)
I think there are consequences when you make the "wrong" choice. The consequence could be losing some of your energy. This being because you shared something that was supposed to stay with you. A consequence could just be losing some Peace of Mind.
Story:
When I was younger my only, older brother said to me, "Do you ever think before you speak?" That memory created a little scar inside myself because it hurt me. I would say I didn't think that much before I spoke. Even until recently I saw speaking and communicating in a channeling or flow way had its benefits. I thought there could be only one way of communicating. It either had to be all thought of before spoken or not. I am definitely still learning.
