Wearing a light blue scarf because your throat chakra is blocked but not getting anywhere? Yeah, that's because healing a chakra is more complicated and takes more energy than that.
Chakra's are invisible to the naked eye and are not as easy as you think to unblock. In this post I will try to explain–everything you need to know about chakra healing.
The ancient system of chakra healing.

Chakras are junction points between physical body and spiritual/metaphysical awareness. They exist on a plane invisible to our naked eye, but if you open your third eye in meditation, you can percieve this energy field with clarity.
Before going into your next guided chakra meditation, I want to inform you that healing your chakras is a holistic process. Meaning every area of your life will shift to positive frequencies if you want to achieve your goal. You cannot keep smoking a pack of cigerettes a day, be chronically anxious or eat from fast food restaurants and think you can have open aligned chakras because you did a 20 minute guided chakra meditation on Youtube.
The Process of Healing a Chakra
Emphasis is on the process part of healing your energy body, specifically your chakra's. The chakra's are all connected and there is a lot of information within each one of them. You have to deal with the information within, if you have trauma and negative energies within, you will face it. Upon working through that data, your actions in life are bound to change. Be prepared to live a different life, a better life.
How Does A Chakra Work?
A chakra can be visualized as an orb of light, each a different color radiating a different frequency. Each frequency has a characteristic.
Each chakra is influenced by the world around us, our expierences, our thoughts and emotions and the energies in the universe. This means we can change it from bad, to good. Whatever the chakra's frequency is what keep perpetuates. This is the law of attaction. If your chakra is vibrating at a frequency of love, it will put out that love energy into the world and suck in or recieve that love energy too. And the same if the frequency it is vibrating at is hate.
Chakra's are located along our spine and all over our body and outside our body. We have chakra's in our hands and feet, above our head and under our feet. It's a system in the universe to process and move energy around. You can compare it to gears moving in a watch or a complicated set of pipes that water moves through. Chakras are part of the universes energy system, we just do not have visual access to them on the visual spectrum of light our eyes perceive. They have a front and a back. The back of the chakra has an opening to recieve energy from the universe around it. The front of the chakra has an opening to put energy out. The opening are said to look like vortexes.
When an energy healer is perceiving someone else's chakra's, they are sensing the energy that your chakra's are putting out into the world.
The orb of light that a chakra is, moves in a circular motion. The speed and direction of this movement depends on the quality of energy moving through. If it is heavy and full of negative energy is it slower. Chakra's also vary in size. An average unhealthy and unhappy American, unaware of their energy health, probably has chakras that the size of marbles moving at slow speeds. Chakra's also have colors. The healthier a chakra, the more vibrant it's color is. People can percieve the colors of their chakra differently and might not indicate the health if the tones are different from each other. For example, my healthy root chakra might be a warm red, while your healthy root chakra might be a brown red. Chakras are individual and you know them best.
How Do I Heal, Open and Align My Chakras?
In order to make your energy health within your chakra's better, you need to first notice your chakras. Using a guided meditation is the easiest way to get started if you've never done this before. Try searching for one from Deepak Chorpra. By noticing and becoming aware of this energy within you, you are going to put your attention on a the area where it resides. Where you're attention goes, energy flows. In the beginning you might not sense anything, but keep trying, keep imagining and you will sense an orb with color.
As you get comfortable sensing your chakra, start envisioning and intending light to fill the chakra, this light can be white or the color of the chakra. Be sure to intend that the light that is filling the chakra comes from the divine universe; some call it Source. You can also intend positive feels to the chakra, either the associated healthy emotion that is native/natural to that chakra ora generalized feel of goodness, love and wellbeing.
After you are practiced in envisioning positivity into your chakra through meditation, we can get a little more physical with our healing. Let's start with bringing positive energy in. Make sure that your enviornement is not full of toxicity and negativity. Living in a dirty home filled with stress or hatered means you are soaking up that energy and putting it in your body and charkra's. Make your home space and eventually all of your spaces peaceful, loving and similar to your soul's unique energy. Also, put healthy food into your diet.
Eating gives physical energy to your chakra. Do you want to give your body and it's chakra's natural sugar from fruit or unnatural and unhealthy sugar from a factory? Feed your body nutritiously and your chakra's will be healthy.
Keep the energy moving my working out. Don't let toxins and negativity that happen from life stay in your body. You can move your body, excersize, dance and breath deeply to remove a lot of negative energy from your body. In turn, your body gets energized and the chakra's get positive energy spinning within.
Be sure that you introduce positive emotions into your life and body. Emotions are an effect from our thoughts. If you aren't trained in Awareness/Mindfulness, which is a way of living that involves minimal thoughts, then be sure to train your mind to think positive and healthy thoughts. Negative and fearful thoughts generate negative emotions. Those emotions live within the chakras. You want to have positive emotions living in the chakras.
You can go within your chakra's and remove and change the negativity to positivity by bringing loving-awareness to the negativity. Loving awareness is a tonic or medicine to non-physical energy like emotions or emotional blockages.
A blockage is just a negative emotion that grew to become a nearly physical blob of energy. Similar to a blockage in a blood vein, an emotional blockage prevents the healthy flow of energy in your body. It gets in the way and causes a backup of energy, eventually that backup becomes so dense that it becomes a physical illness.
Ways to bring loving-awareness to your negative energies is by reflection, close attention to your inner world, journalling, mediation, therapy and other ways. Once you locate and sense the block or negative energy, speak to it, "I love you" and say that it is allowed to be expressed just as it is. The reason it is blocked is because you pushed it down and never wanted to feel it in the first place. So you have to have the grace to allow it to express. As you express it, you are going to feel whatever that pain is for a few seconds and then it will go away compelely- so long as you feel it completely. If you are practiced in Awareness, you will allow the emotion to exist and then move your consciousness to the sensation of Awareness. This is allowing the emotion to exist but going above the pain of the emotion.
What Does A Healthy Chakra Look Like?
How do you know if you have open, healthy and aligned chakra's? I suppose that is subjective. There are indications and signs of healthy chakra's such as a general feeling of wellbeing, positive emotions regularly and order and health in the area that each chakra functions. When sensing your chakra's, if they are large, vibrant in color and emiting the frequency associated with the chakra, then you can safely assume your chakra's are open.
In life, you will experience the positive traits of that chakra and there will be no illness that that area of your body.
